Our site team for London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham has been praised for their approach to resident communications and community investment.
As well as delivering important improvements for Linacre Court and developing a new community centre, the Renew team recycled soil from the excavation works and gave 50 bags of it to the TRA to use in their garden areas and planters. They have also donated a bug hotel to encourage pollinators and other insects that will help their plants thrive.
Nearby Parayhouse School has also benefitted from the team’s drive to support their local community with donations of a bug hotel, worry monsters and books.
Site Manager, John Ambrose and RLO Adrian Johnson are responsible for coordinating these initiatives. John comments:
“Parayhouse provides specialist education for students with moderate learning difficulties from more than 10 local education authorities across Greater London. They’re based a stone’s throw from Linacre Court and we were aware that the noise from our works might upset some of the children due to their additional needs. We’re hoping the worry monsters and books will help them to manage any worries they might have as a result.”
London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham is planning to make this contract a flagship for other contracts of theirs as a result of the good work carried out, both in terms of property and people.
