While we know that energy efficient measures like solar panels and air source heat pumps offer tangible long-term benefits, residents can be concerned about the impact of installation works and unclear about the reasons for the improvements.
So, Breyer Renew hosted an open day at the British Legion Estate for Golding Homes last week, enabling over 40 residents the opportunity to meet with our team to discuss the decarbonisation works set to take place.
To encourage people to come along, we also offered 10 lucky residents a chance to win an “eco hamper” containing items designed to help the environment, alongside a few treats to encourage a little enjoyable time out.
Adrian Fisher, Breyer’s Contracts Manager for this project, said of the event:
“Giving residents an opportunity to speak to us directly about their questions and concerns around the planned works was really rewarding. The open day was well-attended and it enabled us to share key information, such as case studies and tips on dealing with damp and mould. We were also able to reassure residents who weren’t aware of the proven benefits of an air source heat pump being installed in their home. Overall, we received lots of positive feedback from the residents about our planned works.”
