As a business, Breyer is committed to helping young people access and progress in careers within the property industry. As part of this, we regularly offer apprenticeships for a variety of roles within the Breyer Group.
Thanks to the support and commitment of Breyer staff, our apprentices often progress to higher levels of education and to securing ongoing job opportunities both within the business and beyond.
Here are some examples of successful Breyer apprentices:
James Burnett (IT Apprentice) had anxiety before joining Breyer but has completely overcome this through his apprenticeship with us. Having joined through Covid, James wasn’t able to get the full support we would usually offer but he has still thrived with us and has taken every opportunity to develop through training. As a result, he has now passed his digital apprenticeship and is able to obtain RITTech (the professional registration for IT Technicians) while becoming a permanent member of the Breyer Team.
Ron Terholli (SM Apprentice Yr1) gained paid work experience through the NCC’s Industry Placements with Construction. Ron’s time with us enabled him to get the levels he required for university. Ron also takes an active role in representing Breyer Group when he is asked, such as attending the AMIP Event with Liz Obertelli and Daren Moseley.
Paolo Sereno (QS Apprentice Yr3) secured an apprenticeship with us during Covid after being made redundant. The opportunity has helped to rebuild Paolo’s confidence and, in turn, he has performed really well in all assignments set for him.
Jack Fehily (Carpenter Apprentice) wasn’t able to complete his college course after Covid hit as he didn’t have access to a laptop and couldn’t submit elements of his work. Breyer provided Jack with tablets and a keyboard so that he could continue his studies as well as learn the trade by working with our contractors.
Well done to all of our apprentices for everything you’ve achieved with us. And thank you to everyone at Breyer who has gone above and beyond to train and support them.
