Breyer Renew’s team at Golding Homes has gained a near-perfect CCS Score for their work at the Royal British Legion Industries Village in Kent.
With full marks for their approach to community and workforce, as well as 14 out of 15 for “caring for the environment”, the team has been particularly praised by the CCS auditors for having an “extremely effective relationship with the adjoining neighbours”. This is coupled with a close working relationship with all occupied property residents.
Adrian Fisher is Contracts Manager for the project, which includes the upgrade of economy 7 heating in 78 homes to air source heat pumps. He commented on the recent CCS report score:
“Our site manager at the Royal British Legion, David Scott and his team have done exceptionally well to achieve 44 out of 45 for their CCS assessment. All of our sites are covered and driven by ISOs 14001 and 45001, which means they are naturally strong in terms of HSE requirements. So, where David and his team particularly make their mark is in terms of ‘respect for the community’.
“The site’s dedicated RLO holds regular meetings with the residents to flag up any potential and unavoidable disruption caused by the works. Better still, the team has set up additional welfare facilities for residents to use while works are being carried out on their property. This premises is also used for community events. The result is a well-run programme of works with a very happy group of residents.”
Well done to David Scott and the team…keep up the good work!
